Papaya Banana Smoothie is upper right.

Papaya is one of my favorite fruits. It’s only lightly sweet and has a cooling, anti-inflammatory effect on the body. Perfect for my Pitta dosha.


 

ingredients

  • 2 handfuls chopped, fresh papaya (about 1 cup)

  • 1 frozen, chopped banana

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil 

  • Coconut milk

Toppings – 

  • Fresh persimmon slices, dried figs, dried blueberries, hemp seeds, and coconut flakes 

 

instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a high-power blender for about 1 minute

  2. Check consistency and blend more as needed (adjust the amount of coconut milk to desired consistency) 

  3. Serve in a bowl and add desired toppings
