Matcha + Turmeric Bites

 
Yellow bites are Creamy Turmeric Vanilla and green bites are Matcha chip.

These snack ‘bites’ are delicious and perfect for breakfast, dessert, or whenever! Plus, you can make batches ahead of time and store them in the freezer for easy snacking.


 

ingredients

Creamy Turmeric Vanilla

  • ½ cup sunflower seeds

  • ½ cup cashews

  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1 tbsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon

  • 5 dates, pitted

  • 2 tbsp coconut butter

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • ½ cup coconut shreds

  • Splashes of coconut milk 

Matcha Chip

  • ½ cup almonds

  • ½ cup sunflower seeds

  • ½ cup cacao nibs

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 tbsp matcha green tea

  • 5 dates, pitted

  • ¼ cup almond butter

  • 2 tbsp coconut butter

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • ½ cup coconut shreds

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed 

  • Splashes of coconut milk

 

instructions

  1. For both recipes, put all ingredients in a high-power food processor 

  2. Blend well (pause to scrape sides as you go)

  3. Bites are ready when you have a dough-like consistency

  4. Shape dough into bite-size balls and place into air-tight containers

  5. Store in freezer (will keep for up to 2 weeks)

  6. Thaw for a few minutes before enjoying
