We are inundated with information on food, diet, and how one ‘should’ eat. During the Alternative Approaches to Nutrition workshop, we’ll talk about the limitations of our current diet culture and how to sort legitimate information from short-term fads.
Extreme approaches and dramatic overhauls to our way of eating usually fail, so we’ll get real about how to make small tweaks that lead to big, sustainable changes in our health. We’ll also take inventory of how you’re doing in your own relationship with food and explore exercises that support you in tuning into your body’s natural cues. Our goal will be to cultivate a sense of empowerment, intuition, and nourishment around food. You’ll walk away with tips and ideas to get started, or continue, your journey to better eating.
