Rose Cardamon Chia Seed Pudding
Both rose and cardamom are fragrant and cooling in nature. Paired up with chia seeds, this breakfast/snack/dessert is a nutrient-dense and aromatic option. Perfect for pitta dosha in times of excess heat, or for any dosha in the summer months.
ingredients
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp your choice yogurt (I typically use greek-style almond yogurt)
1 cup your choice milk (I typically use coconut milk)
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp rose water
1 tbsp maple syrup
For serving, dried rose petals (culinary-grade), fresh fruit, granola, nut butters, etc.
instructions
Pour chia seeds into medium-size mixing bowl
Add your choice yogurt and milk
Add spices, rose water, and maple syrup
Whisk mixture with a fork
Transfer to a container with a cover (I like to use Weck Jars) and place in fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, but ideally, overnight
Take out of the fridge, add desired toppings
